I am an Esthetician and not a Medical Practitioner. If you have any questions regarding your health or medical diagnosis about your skin, I suggest going to a Dermatologist.

What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning uses an extremely fine, sterile, surgical-grade scalpel to gently scrape the surface of your skin, removing layers of dead skin, oils, and fine hairs.  The procedure aims to remove fine wrinkles and deep acne scarring, as well as make the skin's surface look smooth.

Some products may contain:
Nuts, Soy, Vegan, Gluten

What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning revitalizes the look and feel of your skin by sloughing off dead skin cells, removing peach fuzz, and minimizing the appearance of fine lines and scars.

Does hair grow back after Dermaplaning?
Yes, the hair removed during this exfoliating treatment does eventually grow back, just like the new cells revealed by the treatment eventually become dead skin cells. However, the hairs will NOT grow back thicker.

How often should I Dermaplane?
Since this treatment works by removing dead skin cells, surface imperfections, and unwanted hair, it's best to get it done every three or four weeks.

Who should not Dermaplane?
Avoid it if you have a tan, sunburn, active acne, an inflammatory skin condition such as eczema or psoriasis, those with sun damage, fine lines, dry patches, and dull skin. If you have highly reactive, sensitive skin (like those with rosacea or keratosis pilaris), you may want to pass on this one, since it might irritate your skin.

Does dermaplaning get rid of blackheads?
The treatment process removes dead skin cells and helps to unclog pores. Dirt and excess oil clog the pores if they are simply allowed to remain on the face. Treatment thoroughly removes dirt, excess oil, and sebum from the skin, getting rid of currently existing blackheads and helping to prevent the development of future ones.

Does Dermaplaning help with wrinkles?
While it won't do much for those deeper wrinkles, it can eliminate the fine wrinkles that begin to develop over time.

Does Dermaplaning help open pores?
Pores are the openings in your face from where hair emerges. When there is excess build up of dirt and oil along with the hair, the pores become bigger. Dermaplaning can reduce the size of your pores.

Can I wear makeup after Dermaplaning?
I suggest not wearing makeup for 24 to 48 hours.  Discontinue use of all topical products for 72 hours following treatment. Use a gentle moisturizer as needed.

Will I breakout after dermaplaning?
Any pre- or post-dermaplaning moisturizers could cause breakouts if they contain heavy oils.  Certain skin types may develop bumps or whiteheads following dermaplaning, which could disappear on their own without any treatment

What can I do after dermaplaning?
Avoid direct sun exposure for 3 days, do not use scrubs or other exfoliators for 1 week, avoid extreme heat for 3 days (gym, sauna), apply serums and moisturizers, use sunscreen, avoid chlorine for 1 week, do not have any other facial treatment for two weeks after treatment.  It's also a great time to apply a hydrating serum and moisturizer to give your skin and extra boost.

What does the LED Treatment do?
It is a non-invasive treatment that enters the skin’s layers to improve the skin. It helps treat a variety of skin concerns and conditions such as acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation.
